Public Notice and Request for Public Comment on Access Monitoring Review Plan (AMRP) for the District’s Fee-for-Service (FFS) Medicaid Program

Monday, August 29, 2016
DHCF is seeking public comment on its draft Access Monitoring Review Plan (AMRP) for the District’s fee-for-service (FFS) Medicaid Program. This Plan is required under federal Medicaid requirements (Section 1902(a)(30)(A) of the Social Security Act and 42 CFR 447) to provide a baseline assessment of access to services for FFS Medicaid beneficiaries to assess whether access is comparable to that provided in other private and public programs offered in the District. In the AMRP, DHCF analyzes beneficiary access to six categories of health care services in FFS Medicaid. The final report is due to be submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on October 1, 2016.

Comments from interested stakeholders, including beneficiaries, advocates, providers and institutions will be accepted until 5 PM, Monday, September 19, 2016.  Please submit written comments via email to [email protected] or in writing to Yorick Uzes, Special Projects Officer, Health Care Policy and Research Administration, DC Department of Health Care Finance, 441 Fourth Street NW, Suite 900S, Washington, DC 20001.
