The webinar will focus on the Recovery Audit Contract (RAC) program as mandated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).  This program requires ongoing auditing of providers.  The webinar is being hosted by DataMetrix, the auditing contract vendor of DHCF.

Pursuant to the authority set forth in § 1902(a)(42)(B) of the Social Security Act and 42 C.F.R. § 455.500 et seq., the District of Columbia Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) has retained DataMetrix to conduct post-payment reviews of health care services paid for with Medicaid funds. DataMetrix has replaced PRGX and is the Medicaid Recovery Audit Contractor (RAC) holding a contract with DHCF to conduct audits on behalf of DHCF.
