After further assessment, the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) has decided to cancel provider reenrollment. In place of reenrollment, DHCF is requesting that all providers complete the Provider Demographic Information Update Form.

DHCF released the adjusted case mix rates, effective October 1, 2009, for nursing home facilities.
Effective January 11, 2010, DHCF will transfer the performance of the prior authorization process for FFS dental services to the Delmarva Foundation for Medical Care, Inc., DHCF's Quality Improvement Organization (QIO).
The new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) will be implemented on December 21, 2009.
As a result of the implementation, checks will not be issued the week of January 1, 2010. Regularly scheduled check disbursements will resume on January 8, 2010.
