The purpose of this transmittal is to notify Assisted Living Facility (ALF) providers in the District’s Medicaid program of changes to current enhanced reimbursement rates for ALF due to COVID-19 (Transmittal # 22-22), to reflect the increase in the Living Wage. The ALF reimbursement rates are adjusted to reflect the annual rate changes to the Living Wage Act of 2006, effective June 8, 2006 (D.C. Law 16-118; D.C. Official Code § 2-220.01 et seq. (2012 Repl.)). The changes to the rates will become effective on January 1, 2023. Similarly, the suspended regular ALF rates will also be adjusted to reflect the new Living Wage rate.
