(Washington, DC) –Due to the failure of the United States Congress to pass a budget for fiscal year 2014 and the District’s resulting budget difficulties, at this time, the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) is currently not in a position to reimburse Fee-for-Service Medicaid beneficiaries for payments they made to their health care providers that should have been covered by Medicaid.

The grant provides funds to eligible providers affected by the dissolution of Chartered Health Plan, Inc. (CHP) for undisputed unpaid claims for services rendered to beneficiaries of the DC Medicaid and DC Health Care Alliance program.
