The Long-Term Care (LTC) Subcommittee of the Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC) serves as a forum for stakeholder engagement, community insight, and expert input to support policies and programs that strengthen long-term services and supports (LTSS) for District residents. The Subcommittee focuses on enhancing care quality, promoting person-centered approaches, supporting aging in place, and improving coordination across health, social service, and community-based systems. It brings together beneficiaries, caregivers, providers, advocates, and government partners to inform strategies that improve LTSS access, experience, and outcomes.
