In response to the recent arrest warrants that were issued on Thursday, February 20, 2014, to four Medicaid home health agencies, DHCF is working to ensure continuity of care for affected Medicaid beneficiaries needing personal care aide services (PCA).
DHCF is contacting beneficiaries receiving PCA services to ensure they are receiving needed services. If there are any identified needs for PCA services, DHCF will utilize an expedited process to ensure continuity of care.
(Washington, DC) – In light of the recent court order issued by United States District Judge Gladys Kessler, the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) will extend the deadline for filing reimbursement claims for out-of-pocket expenses for all Medicaid beneficiaries who state that they filed or attempted to file a reimbursement claim relying on an incorrect address for the Recipient Claims Research Team (RCRT). The deadline to submit a reimbursement claim has been extended from 180 days from the date of service to 270 days from the date of service.

(Washington, DC) - Section 1902(kk)(7) of the Social Security Act and its implementing regulations at 42. CFR 455.410 provide that every State Medicaid agency must require all ordering and referring physicians or other professionals providing services under the Medicaid State Plan be enrolled as providers.
Provider registration and training is required to submit utilization review requests to Qualis Health.
