DHCF and the DC Department on Disability Services along with the Advocates for Justice & Education, will present on the "Elderly and Persons with Disabilities Waiver" as well as the "Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Waiver" on June 16, 2015 from 5 pm -7 pm.

 

The Elderly and Persons with Disabilities (EPD) Waiver is a home and community-based program designed to provide the elderly and/or persons with physical disabilities quality health care services in the comfort of that person's home and community. The Intellectual and Development Disabilities (IDD) Waiver is a home and community-based program designed to provide persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities with quality health care services in their home and community. 

 

This meeting is for those who are interested in learning more about the EPD & IDD Waivers, have questions about the eligibility process and the levels of care provided.
