The District wants to assure Medicaid providers and beneficiaries that the impending federal government shutdown will have no impact on Medicaid benefits or provider payments.
The District will timely notify customers and beneficiaries of any potential future impacts.
The Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) and all Economic Security Administration (ESA) Service Centers will continue to operate on a normal schedule.

The Department of Health Care Finance is sharing the below RFP on behalf of the Not-For-Profit Hospital Corporation (NFPHC, more commonly referred to as United Medical Center or UMC). Please see the RFP and associated documents below.
DHCF is accepting applications to fill five vacancies (as of September 30, 2017) on its MCAC (“Medical Care Advisory Committee”). These appointments will be for a three-year term.
Interested individuals are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the MCAC by-laws in advance of submitting an application.
