The purpose of this Medicaid Director Letter (MDL) is to inform stakeholders that effective January 1, 2026, the income limits to be eligible for D.C. Medicaid will be lowered to 138% for current beneficiaries that are “Parent/Caretaker Relatives,” or “Childless Adults.”
