The DC Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) and the DC HIE Policy Board are pleased to invite you to attend and participate in the Health Information Exchange (HIE) Stakeholder Summit. The Summit will take place Wednesday, September 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 4 pm at George Washington University’s Marvin Center.
The Summit will bring together healthcare leaders representing a variety of organizations including hospitals & health systems, health insurers, ambulatory health centers, government agencies and patients. The Summit will be an opportunity to share ideas about what is working both locally and nationally in HIE, and to launch a stakeholder process that we envision will lead to development of a 3-5 year roadmap for HIE in the District. Summit agenda topics will include:
- Understanding HIE and Why it Matters
- HIE in the District
- HIE Governance and Financing Promising Practices
- Technology Approaches for DC HIE
