Postpartum Resources (Baby Blues)

Women are encouraged to give their body time to heal from delivery (vaginal birth or C-section). After childbirth some women may experience heavy bleeding, cramping or other body changes.  If these symptoms persist, call your advice nurse or primary care provider. Moms should ask their primary care or health care provider about engaging in sexual activity and options for pregnancy prevention.  

Giving birth affects women in many different ways.  Some women have mood changes during and after pregnancy. Symptoms of postpartum emotions may include being sleepy, tired, sad, short-tempered or feeling lonely.  To learn more please click on the links below.
