This was the August meeting of the every-other-month Medical Care Advisory Committee (MCAC) Eligibility and Enrollment Subcommittee. The August meeting provided an update on the New Alliance rule, the District Access System (DCAS), new CMS guidance on eligibility restart, the District’s implementation of the restart of eligibility determinations after the public health emergency, shared current enrollment trends, and heard from attendees on all issues. Eligibility and Enrollment MCAC Subcommittee meetings are open to all members of the public who wish to participate, usually held at 3 PM on the third Wednesday of every other month. You are encouraged to share E&E meetings with others and to reach out to Taylor Woods at [email protected] to be added to the scheduling invitations. The Eligibility and Enrollment Subcommittee covers all aspects related to eligibility for and enrollment in DHCF-provided health programs, providing multiple avenues to ask questions and provide comments during the group’s meetings.
