Lisa Truitt is the Director of the Health Care Delivery Management Administration for the DC Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF).  In this role, Lisa is responsible for oversight and supervision of the Agency’s largest Administration, managing the delivery of Medicaid services to the District’s eligible population.  She is responsible for policy development, program administration, planning, implementation and evaluation of the activities of the Administration, while ensuring compliance with federal and District laws and rules.

 

Previously, Ms. Truitt served as the Associate Director of the Division of Managed Care for DHCF. Prior to joining the Department, Ms. Truitt was the Associate Vice President of Marketing and Health Promotion at AMERIGROUP, District of Columbia where she led the organizations efforts to retain and expand its membership, development of the annual budget, objectives, policies and programs for sales and marketing activities that directed and coordinated the efforts of growth and retention.  Ms. Truitt has many years of experience within the healthcare industry, ranging from claims processing to Quality and Disease Management in both commercial and Medicaid Managed Care.
