The purpose of this transmittal is to inform all District Medicaid providers billing Medicaid fee‑for‑service (FFS) for professional services of updates to the District’s professional fee schedule. These updates apply to physician services, physician‑administered drugs, durable medical equipment (DME), parenteral/enteral nutrition items, and laboratory services. For purposes of this transmittal, “professional services” refers to services billed to the DC Medicaid program using the CMS‑1500 claim form.
