Medicaid Update: Transmittal #11-16 New Medicaid PCA Assessment Instrument Required

Effective July 1, 2011, DHCF is requiring all Home Health Agency (HHA) providers of PCA services to use a specific Assessment Instrument, when a beneficiary is being assessed for PCA services and the HHA is not using the federal Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) Assessment Instrument to conduct the assessment.
