The purpose of this transmittal is to notify providers of changes to the reimbursement rates for Home Health Aide services and changes to the current enhanced reimbursement rates for Home Health Aide services due to COVID-19 (Transmittal # 22-20), to reflect the increase in the Living Wage. The reimbursement rates are adjusted to reflect the annual rate changes to the Living Wage Act of 2006, effective June 8, 2006 (D.C. Law 16-118; D.C. Official Code ยง 2-220.01 et seq. (2012 Repl.)). The change to the rates was effective January 1, 2023. Providers must resubmit claims for services rendered on or after January 1, 2023, to receive the updated reimbursement rates.
