Transmittal 21-39 Public Notice of Intent to Submit State Plan Amendment on Child and Adolescent Supplemental Security Income Program (CASSIP) Enrollment Eligibility for Individuals Aged 21-26

The Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) hereby gives notice of the intent to submit an amendment to the District of Columbia State Plan for Medical Assistance (State Plan) to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for review and approval to continue to allow individuals who are enrolled prior to their 21st birthday to remain in CASSIP up to age 26 and provide CASSIP-enrolled individuals age 21 or older the option to transition to managed care prior to their 26th birthday, if preferred.
