The purpose of this transmittal is to notify Adult Substance Use Rehabilitative Services (ASURS) providers that the District of Columbia Medicaid Fee Schedule will be updated for Medically Monitored Inpatient Withdrawal Management (MMIWM) covered under the State Plan. In accordance with requirements set forth in Section 9104 of Chapter 91 and Section 988 of Chapter 9 of Title 29 of the District of Columbia Municipal Regulations, the Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) announces changes to the Medicaid reimbursement rates for MMIWM. The rate changes outlined in this transmittal are the result of the ongoing behavioral health rate study conducted by DHCF and the Department of Behavioral Health (DBH).
