The purpose of this transmittal is to inform operators of ICFs/IID of Medicaid reimbursement changes. The Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF), in accordance with the requirements set forth in 29 DCMR §§ 988.4 and 4102.7(i), announces changes to the current enhanced reimbursement rates for District ICFs/IID to reflect the increase in the Living Wage to $17.00. The changes to the rates will become effective from July 1, 2023, to July 11, 2023, when the enhanced rates end due to the Public Health Emergency. Similarly, the suspended regular ICF/IID rates will also be adjusted to reflect the new Living Wage rate and will be effective July 12, 2023.
