This False Claims Compliance and Oversight Transmittal supersedes all previous transmittals that address compliance with District of Columbia False Claims Act and the Federal False Claims Act.  District of Columbia Medicaid providers must comply with the District of Columbia False Claims Act.  In addition, all District of Columbia Medicaid providers who receive or make annual payments of at least Five Million Dollars must comply with the Federal False Claims Act. These entities must provide annual training on the Federal False Claims Act to their employees and certify to DHCF, in writing, that they provide such training on an annual basis.
