The District of Columbia Department of Health Care Finance’s (DHCF) Managed Care Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) Framework for CY 2026–2030 establishes the structure for aligning Medicaid managed care payments with quality, outcomes, and patient-centered care. The framework prioritizes primary and preventive care, maternal health, and pediatric health, while strengthening accountability and standardized performance measurement across Managed Care Plans (MCPs) and provider partners.
