Final Rulemaking: Provider of Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, and Orthotics Supplies Final Rulemaking

The rulemaking would establish new provider requirements regarding the amount and number of surety bonds required for providers, submitting a CMS Medicare Supplier Letter, conditions for enrollment, and extending privacy to Medicaid beneficiaries when fitting appliances. The rulemaking would also change the name of the entity responsible for administration of the D.C. Medicaid Program from the now-abolished Medical Assistance Administration within the Department of Health to the newly-established Department of Health Care Finance.
