Transmittal 23-07 - ICFIID Rate Change Effective Jan 1 2023

The purpose of this Transmittal is to inform operators of ICFs/IID of the Medicaid reimbursement changes. The Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF), in accordance with the requirements set forth in 29 DCMR §§ 988.4 and 4102.7(i), announces changes to the current enhanced reimbursement rates for District ICFIID due to COVID-19 to reflect the increase in the Living Wage to $16.50. The changes to the rates will become effective on January 1, 2023. Similarly, the suspended regular ICFIID rates will also be adjusted to reflect the new Living Wage rate upon the end of the Public Health Emergency.
