(McGladrey), and its teammates, Health IT 2 Business Solutions, LLC and Decisive Consulting Solutions, LLC, collectively The McGladrey Team, have been engaged to perform an assessment of the sustainability of the Not-for-Profit Hospital Corporation’s (d/b/a United Medical Center and referred to in our report as UMC or the Hospital) business in light of the pending healthcare reform, as well as review UMC’s financial and business operations and liabilities considering the Hospital’s existing payor mix and the nature and amount of the reimbursement the Hospital receives from the District of Columbia’s Medicaid program.
