DHCF Awards Services My Way Program Contract to Consumer Direct DC

Vendor to provide Support Broker Services to DHCF’s Participant Directed Services for EPD Waiver beneficiaries
(Washington, DC) The Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) announced that it has awarded a contract to Consumer Direct DC to provide VF/EA Financial Management Services (FMS)-Support Broker Services for DHCF’s Participant Directed Services (PDS) program, Services My Way. The Services My Way program will be offered to all eligible Elderly and Persons with Physical Disabilities (EPD) wavier beneficiaries. The contract was awarded in late January 2016.
 
The vendor, Consumer Direct DC, will provide payroll, bill payment, other fiscal related activities and Support Broker services to participants enrolled in the Services My Way program.
 
“We are very excited to begin enrollment in the Participant-Directed Services program for Medicaid beneficiaries in the District of Columbia. This program is a much-anticipated enhancement to DHCF’s service offerings, and a wonderful step in our ongoing efforts to provide more individual choice and control for our EPD Waiver participants,” said Ieisha Gray, Director of DHCF’s Long Term Care Administration.
 
Consumer Direct provides home and community and community based services and works with individuals who need in-home support for long-term care needs, mental health and developmental disabilities.
