DHCF Announces October 31st Grant Application Deadline Extension for Providers Seeking Payment of Unpaid Medicaid and Alliance Beneficiary Claims

Provider grant applications will be accepted until Thursday, October 31, 2013

(Washington, DC) The Department of Health Care Finance (DHCF) today announced that it has extended the application deadline until Thursday, October 31, 2013 for providers to respond to the Request for Applications for the Provider Stabilization and Beneficiary Access Grant. The grant provides funds to eligible providers affected by the dissolution of Chartered Health Plan, Inc. (CHP) for undisputed unpaid claims for services rendered to beneficiaries of the DC Medicaid and DC Health Care Alliance program.

The October 31st deadline is final and will not be extended.  If eligible providers fail to submit an application, they will not be able to receive a grant award related to unpaid claims from Chartered Health Plan.

Interested applicants may obtain a copy of the application packet from the DHCF website at www.dhcf.dc.gov or may call 1-855-865-1769.

Completed grant applications may be submitted online at www.charteredrehabilitation.com no later than 5 pm on Thursday, October 31, 2013.
